Brad always wanted to be a farmer.  He started in middle school when he rented some land from a neighbor and sold his vegetables around the neighborhood out of a wagon that he pulled behind him.  Fast forward to recent history, Brad’s Produce was officially started in 1992 when Brad opened his first stand in the parking lot of Kefauver’s Hardware in Bel Air on Route 22.  This Brad’s Produce farm stand has been open ever since. (We refer to it as the Fountain Green farm stand.)  The Fountain Green farm stand is located next to the Express Care office where Kefauver’s Hardware used to be.  In 2000, Brad purchased the farm in Churchville and Brad’s Produce really took off!

Since then, Brad’s has really grown and now includes 500 acres of owned and leased farm land, four farm stands around Harford County, a CSA program with over 500 members, is a member of the Bel Air Farmer’s Market, and raises Angus beef cattle and pigs.  In addition to all that, Brad has a wife, three children, a dog, and 40 part-time employees.  The future is looking bright as Brad’s Produce evolves and grows to the next level.
